Standard Backup Format Developer Info


Backups are just text files with one otpauth URI per line. Documentation on otpauth URIs are available here. For example, a backup could look like this:

Tips:

  • Remember that the issuer and account name cannot contain a colon (: or %3A)
  • Save the file as text/plain
